When should I use CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection has been designed for everyday use. Even though it may not appear sunny, you are still being exposed to damaging UV and HEV light on a daily basis. These light wavelengths can penetrate clouds and even windows, making it essential to use solar protection daily for maintaining good skin health.
What is the best way to apply CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection?
Ensure you shake well before use, and apply CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection by dispensing a generous amount of product and gently working it into the skin with your hands until fully absorbed to ensure maximum protection.
How much product do I need to apply?
We tested CYACÊLLE under clinical conditions, applying two mg per square cm of skin. This equates to roughly one teaspoon of the product for each arm, leg, the face, back and torso or seven teaspoons for a full body application.
How often do I have to reapply?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection should be reapplied at least every two hours, especially after perspiring, swimming, or towelling to maintain protection.
How long do I have to wait after applying / do I have to wait before going into the sun?
After application, it is recommended to wait 20 minutes before sun exposure.
Should I apply CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection before or after moisturising? How long should I wait?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection should be applied as the last step in your skin care routine.
Allow a few minutes after your moisturiser application prior to applying CYACÊLLE.
Should I apply CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection before or after makeup?
Your initial application of CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection should be prior to makeup application.
For reapplication throughout the day, CYACÊLLE can be applied over makeup.
Can I use CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection on my scalp and hairline?
Yes, you can apply CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection all over the face and body.

How do I remove CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection?
The best way to remove CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection at the end of the day is to cleanse the skin using an oil-based cleanser.
How does CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection protect me from the sun / solar radiation?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection contains mineral ultraviolet (UV) filters which work by acting like a shield on the skin’s surface and reflecting UV radiation. CYACÊLLE also provides high energy visible (HEV) light protection through inclusion of plant derived actives and iron oxides which absorb, scatter and reflect visible
light.
How is CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection different to a chemical sunscreen?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection uses 100% mineral UV filters and also offers protection from high energy visible (HEV) light. Mineral and chemical filters work similarly to each other by primarily converting UV radiation into heat, however the mineral UV filters in CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection also work by scattering UV radiation. Ingredients in CYACÊLLE offer HEV light protection by absorbing, scattering and reflecting visible light.
How does CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection provide HEV protection?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection contains plant derived actives that provide protection from HEV and pollution.
CYACÊLLE also contains iron oxides that absorb, scatter and reflect visible light.
Does CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection prevent “age spots” (hyperpigmentation)?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection will help to prevent hyperpigmentation that results from UVA, UVB and HEV exposure, commonly known as “age spots”.
Is CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection anti-ageing?
Yes! Exposure to UV and HEV light are major contributors to visible skin ageing, using CYACÊLLE polychromatic protection will help protect your skin from UV and HEV induced photoageing.
Is CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection safe for sensitive skin?
Yes! CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection has undergone testing to ensure it is safe for use on sensitive skin. However, as all skin is different, we would recommend that individuals with sensitive skin test the product on a small, inconspicuous, area before use.
I have rosacea and am prone to acne, is CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection safe?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection has not been tested for use on those with rosacea or acne prone skin. CYACÊLLE polychromatic protection is suitable for sensitive skin types, however we would advise patch testing on an inconspicuous area before use. If you have any concerns, we advise consulting with your healthcare provider to determine if this product is right for you.
I have eczema / atopic dermatitis. Is CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection suitable for me?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection has not been tested for use on those with eczema or atopic dermatitis. Is CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection safe for use during pregnancy and breast feeding?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection can be used during pregnancy and breast feeding. If you have any concerns about usage during pregnancy and breast feeding, please discuss with your healthcare provider.
How has the product been tested?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection has undergone numerous tests to determine UV and HEV protection and its anti-oxidative properties, in addition to further safety testing. All testing methods are scientifically validated and are performed in line with industry standards.
If I use CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection every day, will I become Vitamin D deficient?
Only minimal exposure to sunlight is required to achieve necessary vitamin D levels, which most people achieve with incidental sun exposure. If you have any concerns about your vitamin D levels, please discuss with your healthcare provider.
Can the minerals in CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection be absorbed into my bloodstream?
The mineral filters used in CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection are generally recognised as safe and
are not absorbed into the blood stream following topical application.
If I use light sensitising active ingredients, will CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection reduce mysensitivity?
CYACÊLLE can provide UV and HEV protection against the increased light sensitivity you may experience post use of active skincare products.
Can CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection help prevent sun allergies?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection has not been tested to prevent sun allergies or photosensitivities. If you experience sun allergies, we advise consulting with your healthcare provider to determine if this product is right for you.
Is CYACÊLLE natural/organic?
CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection contains at least 95% ingredients of natural origins but is not an organic product.
Is CYACÊLLE vegan?
Yes, CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection is suitable for vegans.
Is CYACÊLLE cruelty free?
Yes! CYACÊLLE meets the European Union (EU) standards for cosmetic products. Under the EU cosmetics legislation, all cosmetic products available in Europe must not be tested on animals.
When will the payment be deducted from my account?

How can I pay for my order?
CLINUVEL accepts payments for orders via credit/debit cards, Apple pay and Google pay.
Can I change my order?
Once you have placed your order, we cannot amend it. You may cancel your order up to 14 days after receiving it. Please see our returns policy.
Is there a way to pay for the product in installments?
No, at this stage we do not offer buy now pay later as a form of payment for CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection.

We currently deliver to the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

How long after placing my order will it be dispatched?
Products are typically dispatched within 24 hours of the order being placed, or the next business day when ordering outside of business hours or on a public holiday.Orders placed before 14:00 Central European Time will be dispatched on the same day.
Will I receive a notification when my order has been shipped?
Yes, once your order has been dispatched you will receive confirmation via email that your delivery has been shipped. This email will also contain your tracking details.

What are your delivery timelines?
Orders are usually delivered within 1–3 business days after dispatch depending on the country of
delivery. Remote areas may experience an increase in shipping timelines.
What if I am not home to receive my order?
A calling card or electronic notification of the attempted delivery will be provided outlining how the parcel will be handled in your country which may be via a redelivery attempt or collection from parcel shop. In the case a second delivery attempt is unsuccessful the order will be returned to us.

At this stage CYACÊLLE polychromatic solar protection can only be shipped to certain locations within the EU and UK. We are working to expand our product availability in the future.
